Three smog alerts issued this week

It's been a bad week for good breathing. Smog alerts were issued for Wednesday, today and for Saturday. That means older adults, children and people with breathing disorders such as asthma should stay inside, according to the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission, which issued the alert. Smog forms on hot, still days when the sun cooks pollutants from cars, trucks, power plants and factories.
