The Northern Lights from space

The International Space Station gave a unique view of the Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights.The ISS saw the light show hovering over Canada.The Northern Lights are caused when electrically-charged particles released from the sun collide with gases in Earth’s atmosphere.
