The 2016 Year in Review

Before we march into 2017 let’s pause to take a look back at 2016.
Weather-wise it wasn’t a terrible year. One thing that stands out is how hot it was.
We started the year in the midst of a record-tying El Nino pattern. This helped usher in a winter that was a bit less harsh than the past two in Central Ohio.
In 2016 we set or tied 8 record high temperatures, a stark contrast from the one record low temperature we recorded.
