Testing opt-outs hurt state report cards for some central Ohio schools

Students who opted out of state proficiency tests made a noticeable difference on some state report cards for 2014-15. At Columbus’ Indianola Informal K-8 School, nearly half of students opted not to take the tests, according to state data released last week.
