Taver Johnson returning to Ohio State as DB coach

Taver Johnson, a 23-year coaching veteran with prior positions in the Big Ten Conference, the SEC and the National Football League, has joined coach Urban Meyer’s staff as cornerbacks coach, Meyer announced today. Additional responsibilities for Johnson may be announced at a later date.Johnson will become the 10th coach on the Buckeyes coaching staff.He was the defensive coordinator for the Temple Owls last season.The spot came open when then cornerbacks coach Kerry Coombs left Ohio State
