SWAT standoff near Newark

NEWARK, Ohio – SWAT officers are on the scene of a barricade situation on Roberts Avenue near Newark Friday evening.Licking County Sheriff Randy Thorp told 10TV the person in the house allegedly made threats and fired random gunshots before law enforcement arrived.The person inside the house is refusing to come outside, according to Sheriff Thorp.Sheriff Thorp said members of law enforcement have not fired any shots.Authorities are reporting no injuries at this time.Stay with 10TV.com for
