Suspicious 'box' sent to city official bring bomb squad downtown

Columbus police and fire officials were on the scene of a suspicious package that was delivered to 77 N. Front St., addressed to a city official.Columbus Fire personnel confirmed the box had no nefarious contents, but security did not feel comfortable delivering the package to its intended recipient.The call came in at 3:30 p.m. and the bomb squad was on scene for about an hour before it was cleared. There was no return address on the package.
