Surveying the tornado damage in east Columbus

You may have missed it last night. A strong thunderstorm rolled through East Columbus and brought severe weather with it.The storm hit around 5:50 a.m. and brought straight-line wind damage to Bexley knocking over trees and bringing heavy rain. As the storm moved east of James Road and into East Columbus a tornado formed just south of Broad Street.Today the National Weather Service in Wilmington sent a team to survey the damage.
