Study: Link between gum disease and cancer risk

A new study suggests older women with a history of gum disease may also have an elevated cancer risk.Researchers at the University of Buffalo tracked 65,000 post-menopausal women.They found the women with periodontal problems had a 14% higher risk for cancer.Researchers found an especially high link to esophageal and gallbladder cancers.
