Students warned after two armed robberies on Ohio University campus

ATHENS, Ohio -Police at Ohio University are warning students to be alert after two armed robberies on campus.The department made a Facebook post alerting students around 1:30 a.m. Thursday. It said two armed robberies took place on the Athens campus, one on N. McKinley at Pickering Hall and another on Shafer Street at Union Street.They described the suspect as a white male, 5'7" - 5'8". He was armed with a silver pistol and fled in an older 4-door sedan.Police are urging students to use caution
