Strong turnout, few snags reported on Election Day in central Ohio

Voters, observers and elections officials say voter turnout still appears strong throughout central Ohio. Despite scattered reports of snags and long lines, voter advocates said, problems don't seem to be widespread. By about 1 p.m., more than a quarter of Franklin County's 843,443 registered voters had cast ballots, either in person or by absentee voting, according to the Franklin County Board of Elections.
