Stats show Madison County population essentially steady

The county has grown about 1.6 percent over the last five years, according to U.S. Census figures released last week. Those estimates, in this year's Metropolitan and Micropolitan Statistical Area Totals report, show that from 2010 to mid-2015, population has essentially remained fixed.
