State, union agree to three-year deal that includes 2.5% raises for workers

The state and Service Employees International Union District 1199 have agreed to a new three-year contract agreement giving the union’s 4,000 employees 2.5-percent annual raises. It will be the first pay hikes for the union workers stretching back to 2008.
