State trooper injured after being struck during traffic stop in Union County

UNION COUNTY, Ohio - An Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper was struck by a vehicle while conducting a traffic stop Friday afternoon in Union County, according to OSHP.The crash happened just before 5 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 347 and East Liberty Road.Lt. Robert Sellers with OSHP said the trooper was out of the cruiser when he was hit by another vehicle.The trooper was taken to an area hospital with what appears to be non-life threatening injuries, Sellers said.SR-347 is closed in b
