State Route 39 reopened after train derailment in Ashland County

ASHLAND COUNTY - A train derailment between two Ashland County villages closed State Route 39 the majority of Saturday.It happened around 3 a.m. Saturday between Perrysville and Loudonville, according to Mark Rafeld, Director of Emergency Management Agency. The route did not reopen until about 8 p.m. Saturday.The Norfolk Southern Railway train had 135 cars with 14 cars derailed.
