State Route 39 is closed after train derailment in Ashland County

ASHLAND COUNTY - Authorities say a train has derailed in Ashland County between two villages.It happened around 3 a.m. Saturday between Perrysville and Loudonville, according to Mark Rafeld, Director of Emergency Management Agency.The Norfolk Southern Railway train had 135 cars with 14 cars derailed. Four of those cars were leaking products including zinc oxide and propane.Officials say two railway employees were on the train but not injured.There is no immediate threat to the area.State Route 3
