State releases new evaluation system for charter school sponsors

Outgoing state schools Superintendent Richard A. Ross Wednesday announced a new evaluation system for sponsors of Ohio charter schools. The system is based on a 1- to 12-point scale and largely mirrors recommendations made this month by a review panel assembled to fix Ohio’s faulty system.
