State officials investigating fish kill in Raccoon Creek, Licking River

Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and Ohio Department of Natural Resources workers are at the scene of a fish kill reported this morning in Licking County. The fish kill started in Raccoon Creek in Newark, and now is being found in the south fork of the Licking River. No pollution source has been identified, and the number of fish killed is not known, Division of Wildlife spokeswoman Karen Norris said.
