State fire marshal can't determine cause of Mad River Mountain fire

Investigators said today that they could not determine what caused a fire that destroyed the lodge at Mad River Mountain ski resort in Logan County earlier this month. The state fire marshal's office said that investigators could not rule out a discarded cigarette or other smoking materials were to blame, nor could they rule out an electrical issue.
