State education board's role should be diminished, board president says

The president of the Ohio Board of Education Thursday urged a smaller role for both the board and state superintendent. “The current governance structure is simply not working,” board President Tom Gunlock told a committee studying possible updates to education sections of the Ohio Constitution.
