State board of education votes to keep records from Yost

The Ohio Board of Education Tuesday refused to turn over internal communications requested by state Auditor Dave Yost about the Department of Education’s rigging of charter-school evaluations. The board voted against a resolution 10-3 to immediately release the documentation to Yost and directing state Superintendent Richard A. Ross and other staff to cooperate with the auditor’s probe. Four board members abstained from voting.
