State auditor: Buckeye Valley repaid money spent to back bond levy

The Buckeye Valley school district in Delaware County has returned $9,750 that it illegally used to promote an income tax levy using public funds in 2014, the Ohio Auditor's office reported in an audit report released Thursday. Ohio law states that school districts are prohibited from using public funds to support or oppose a tax or bond levy.
