Sprint told to continue its WiMAX network

Thousands of low-income, elderly and disabled Ohioans still have Internet service as a result of emergency legal action late last week that forced Sprint to keep parts of its WiMAX network in operation. A Massachusetts Superior Court judge granted an emergency injunction, sought by nonprofits Mobile Beacon and Mobile Citizen, to force Sprint to operate the service for 90 days.
