Spectrum name to replace Time Warner as cable provider’s sale is complete

Most central Ohioans will eventually see a new name on their cable bills. Charter Communications’ purchase of Time Warner Cable that was completed Wednesday will mean the end of the Time Warner Cable name. Charter will market products and services under its Spectrum brand. The deal means that Charter will be the dominant cable carrier in Ohio, where Time Warner Cable has 2.13 million customers.
