Smoke sends Upper Arlington High School students home

Students at Upper Arlington High School were sent home this afternoon after the building was evacuated for smoke. Officials evacuated the building, 1650 Ridgeview Road, around noon. Principal Paul Imhoff tweeted that an electrical fire caused the smoke. Firefighters "did think it was best that we dismissed early" while they investigated the cause of the smoke, said district spokeswoman Karen Truett.
