Smog warnings issued in central Ohio

Air-quality alerts were issued for the area for Thursday and Friday. The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission, which issues the alerts, said still conditions, high temperatures and sunny skies were to blame, and could be unhealthy for people with respiratory diseases.
