Skywatch: Venus will shine brightly

As we start out the week, you’ll be able to see the solar system’s two inner planets in the west and southwestern sky. Venus and Mercury will be out around and just after sunset. Venus will be the brighter of the two with Mercury just below and to the right. You’ll need to have a good view of the horizon to see the pair, though, they’ll be low in the sky.
