Shooting suspect arrested after SWAT standoff shuts down I-70

A man suspected of shooting two people was arrested Tuesday afternoon after an hours-long standoff with SWAT officers in Columbus.According to police, 29-year-old Jamie Broom Junior was involved in a shooting where one victim was shot in the leg and another shot in the mouth Monday night.Just after 11 a.m. Tuesday, Broom shot one of the victim’s vehicles. The victim contacted police.Officers were able to determine Broom was inside a home in the 1900 block of Gault Street.Two other people e
