Sheriff's office investigating man killed in Franklin County shooting

FRANKLIN COUNTY - The Franklin County Sheriff's Department confirms that one person is dead in a shooting near Galloway.Deputies responded to the scene on Ohio Street near Georgesville Wrightsville Road in southwest Franklin County just before 4:00 Thursday morning.Officials with the sheriff's department tell 10TV the deceased is a male.There is no word at this time on whether investigators are searching for a suspect.Ohio Street is blocked in that area as detectives continue their investigation
