Sheriff's deputy, medics help save a life after runner collapses at Columbus Marathon
COLUMBUS, Ohio - A runner at the Columbus Marathon was hospitalized Sunday after collapsing near Broad Street and High Street.The Franklin County Sheriff's Office said Deputy Tanya White saw the runner collapse near her and rushed to help.The sheriff's office said she noticed the runner was not breathing and felt the runner's heart had stopped.White performed CPR until medics arrived.The Columbus Division of Fire said an automated external defibrillator, or AED, was used and the runner's heart s
