Sheriff issues alert for 2 escaped inmates in Union County

The Union County Sheriff’s office says two male inmates escaped the West Central Correctional facility Saturday afternoon.They left the facility going northbound on State Route 4 just before 3 p.m., according to officials.Authorities say one inmate was wearing a blue shirt and the other was wearing a green shirt.If seen, do not approach.
