Sheriff identifies body found in Paint Creek as missing Ross County man

ROSS COUNTY, Ohio -The Ross County Sheriff’s Office has identified a man who was found dead under a bridge in Ross County on Tuesday.Authorities say 39-year-old Joshua Whitaker was located by construction workers under a bridge in Paint Creek on US-23 south around 4 p.m.Whitaker was taken to the Ross County coroner's office to undergo an autopsy.Officials have said how he died, only that the investigation is ongoing, according to the Ross County Sheriff’s Office.
