Sen. Jim Hughes announces run for Ohio House

As expected, veteran state Sen. Jim Hughes has announced his intent to run for the 24th House District in an effort to swap seats with Rep. Stephanie Kunze. If successful, this would be the second stint in the House for the Columbus Republican, who was first appointed to the House in 2000, where he was elected to four terms before being serving two terms in the Senate.
