SEC documents: Former treasurer Kevin Boyce attended pay-to-play meeting
Former Ohio Treasurer Kevin Boyce attended a meeting in March 2010 in which his deputy demanded “direct monetary contributions” to Boyce’s campaign fund from a bank trying to land state contracts from Boyce’s office, according to a federal Securities and Exchange Commission finding filed Thursday. Larry James, Boyce's attorney, said the SEC's allegation is wrong.
