Search underway for inmate who escaped from Champaign County jail

MECHANICSBURG, Ohio - Authorities in Champaign County are looking for an inmate who escaped from the Tri-County Regional Jail in Mechanicsburg Thursday.The Champaign County 911 Center told 10TV 40-year-old Staling Santos-Reyes escaped and people living near the jail should stay inside.Santos-Reyes is described as being 5'6" tall, weighs 140 pounds, and is bald.He was in the jail on charges of possession of criminal tools and possession of drugs.
