Ross County 911 being shut down for maintenance Wednesday morning

Ross County Sheriff George Lavender is alerting the community that the county's 911 system will be shut down for maintenance Wednesday morning.The service will be down beginning at 5 a.m. and includes the city of Chillicothe.The maintenance is scheduled for last 30 minutes but could take longer.During this time, Sheriff Lavender said all emergency calls should be made to 740-773-1185 and not 911.Horizon landline customer’s phones that dial 911 will be rerouted to the 740-773-1185 number du
