Rob Portman has 18-point lead over Ted Strickland, poll shows

Republican Sen. Rob Portman holds an 18-point lead over Democratic challenger Ted Strickland in a Quinnipiac University poll released today. In the survey of 598 voters likely to vote Tuesday Portman has the support of 54 percent of women and 57 percent of men.
