Rob Portman expected to endorse John Kasich today

After months of saying he would remain neutral in the Republican presidential race, Sen. Rob Portman today will endorse Gov. John Kasich. Portman, R-Ohio, who will issue a statement this morning backing Kasich, made his decision after having a long telephone conversation with Kasich this week. During the talk, Kasich asked Portman for his endorsement.
