Road closed after SUV damages pole in east Columbus

COLUMBUS - Columbus Police closed a roadway after a driver crashed into a pole and a parked pickup.The accident happened around 3:00 Friday morning on Cassady Avenue.According to police, the driver of an SUV left the roadway and hit a pole. From there, the SUV hit a trash can and a parked vehicle.A sergeant on the scene said the driver was stable when medical crews took her to the hospital and that her injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.The City of Columbus is sending crews to the sc
