Richard Celeste endorses P.G. Sittenfeld in Senate primary race

Former Ohio Gov. Richard F. Celeste considers one of his successors, Ted Strickland, a friend. Thursday, however, Celeste went with P.G. Sittenfeld. The liberal two-term governor from 1983 to 1991 endorsed the upstart Sittenfeld over the Democratic Party-endorsed Strickland for the party’s nomination for U.S. Senate in the March 15 primary.
