Doctors believe repeated brain trauma, like concussions, are a cause for the degenerative brain disease Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy or CTE.So far, CTE has only been diagnosed in athletes after their death.But a new method is being tested and may be able to diagnose the disease while an athlete is still alive.“The hope is to be able to diagnosis it before people have any symptoms whatsoever and then we can treat it and cure it.
