Report: Ohio pedestrian deaths more than doubled

More pedestrians were struck and killed by cars in Ohio during the first half of last year even as local officials push to make city streets safer to walk. A report released today by the Governors Highway Safety Administration projects a 10 percent increase in the number of pedestrians killed in the U.S. in car crashes in 2015. In Ohio, those fatal crashes more than doubled in the first half of the year, according to the report.
