Refrigeration unit explodes at Fairfield County Fairgrounds amid 4th of July preparations

LANCASTER, Ohio — Festivities are still scheduled to go on as planned for 4th of July at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds after a refrigeration unit exploded early Wednesday morning.The explosion happened at approximately 4 a.m., sending debris flying across the fairgrounds. Officials believe a leak from a propane tank was the cause,"We inspect all of these mobile food truck vendors, every year, every festival we have.
