Refinery issues contribute to recent bump in local gas prices

Gasoline prices have surged this week in Ohio at a time of year when prices usually are falling, a trend that is tied to refinery problems and an increase in the market price of oil. Central Ohio drivers are paying an average of $2.36 per gallon this morning, up 18 cents from a week ago, according to AAA. That is an unusually large increase.
