Red-light-camera lobbyist off convention-center and Veterans Memorial boards

John Raphael's term has expired on the Franklin County Convention Facilities Authority, and commissioners will not reappoint the lobbyist at the center of Columbus' red-light camera scandal. Raphael's four-year term ended Saturday, but county officials notified him last week that he would not be reappointed to the board that oversees the convention center, commissioners spokeswoman Hanna Greer said.
