Record warmth today will turn to a nasty chill Saturday
Nice fall day today. In fact, we hit 75 degrees at 3:03 p.m. at John Glenn Columbus International Airport, smashing the record of 73 degrees for today set in 1954. But, the bottom falls out overnight. Keep the memory of this warm, sunny day because temperatures will struggle to reach the mid-40s on Saturday as a cold front sweeps through, said Allen Randall, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Wilmington.
