Rain will give way to chillier temperatures

The damp post-Christmas weather is ending, but get ready for a blast of good, old wintertime cold the rest of the week. Central Ohio had seen 1 to 2 inches of rain over the weekend and is expected to get another inch through tonight, said Myron Padgett, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Wilmington. Despite all the rain and soggy lawns, there were no reports of flooding here over the weekend, Padgett said.
