Push underway to keep Anchor Hocking plant rolling in Lancaster

LANCASTER — Every second or so, a bright orange gob of molten glass drops down a chute and falls into the mold that will turn it into a 12-ounce tumbler. This is one of more than 100 production lines in the vast Anchor Hocking glassware factory, a place that is loud and hot, and where a new chief executive is in the early stages of a plan to help the brand regain footing after years of turmoil.
