Pumpkins lined up for Circleville weigh-in

CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — Today’s the big day here in this city that was all pumpkin spice before pumpkin spice was cool. Yes, it’s the Circleville Pumpkin Show. You know the drill: giant pumpkins, pumpkin parades, Pumpkin Show Baby contests, Pumpkin Show Queen and the world's largest pumpkin pie (which by the time you read this will have finger holes poked in it by the curious, despite security and warnings that it is gross and not for consumption.)
