Proposal to ban LGBT discrimination faces pushback in Chillicothe

The Rev. Terry Williams said he has no idea what to expect tonight when a Chillicothe City Council committee meets for the first time to discuss a proposed nondiscrimination ordinance that would, among other things, offer protections to the LGBTQ community. Williams said that after he spoke at a City Council meeting a few weeks ago where the subject came up, someone knife-sliced the Pride Month rainbow-colored yard sign signifying the inclusiveness of his church and rendered it unreadable.
